He Already Knows
Are you struggling with something?
Whether mentally, physically, or spiritually, it's all connected. That’s why it is so important for us to make God the priority of our lives. I believe our spiritual health is critical to growth in every aspect. If we properly tend to our relationship with God it will positively impact everything else in our lives.
God’s word is true. “But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” Matthew 6:33 (NIV)
What are "all these things" that He will add or provide for you?
In the verses before and after this, Jesus explains that people who don’t know God worry about what they’ll eat, drink, and wear. They’re concerned and constantly striving to have their needs met. But Jesus tells us that we, as children of God have a different story.
“So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” Matthew 6:31-34 (NIV)
Did you catch that? Your Heavenly Father already knows what you need. Instead of worrying, seek Him first—make your relationship with Him the sole priority, and He will take care of the rest. God knows exactly what you need today. He’s asking for your attention, your heart, and your commitment to Him. Let Him handle everything else!
Maybe you are searching for an answer regarding your family, a health crisis, your business, or a close relationship. He sees you. I encourage you to take some intentional time today to seek Him—still your heart and mind in His presence. Refuse to let worry take the lead—remind yourself that as you seek Him first, He will provide for you. Then, take that step of faith and go to Him in prayer. He is faithful, and His peace will surround you, even amidst uncertainty. Open your heart to the Holy Spirit and let Him guide you to the answers your soul needs.
No matter what you are facing today, God is for you and His provision is certain.
Are you ready to take Him at His word?
